I got a mail this morning to write an article for an overseas website, one of the questions was: What was my favourite wedding that I have done so far? I truly don’t know how you answer a question like this, as each wedding is so unique and true to my couple’s personality- so how can one choose? I just said that each wedding has something unique and that little elements make the weddings for me, as long as they are true to themselves as a couple. I want guests to say at weddings- WOW this is so… Ryna & Dave… and on that topic….
I met Ryna & Dave a while ago and also did her sister’s wedding as well : Betty & Peter . For each couple there is that one element that is extremely important- for them it was food- You can call them Foodies if you like( and it was their hobby as well eating at new and exciting places)… so we kept in that theme for their wedding. The confetti was Corn-fetti, popcorn in boxes, the pre-drinks was the old biscuit mill market feeling, with a sushi bar and even a Charcuterie station. It’s was a wedding where food was at its core!! And who doesn’t like food?

How can I describe an awesome in love couple? Easy…..Just look at these 2 people! How I loved planning this fresh yellow and grey inspired wedding with loads of details!!! And what a wedding it was! If you look at these stunning images you will see that is was an truly gorgeous wedding, and the best part of a wedding like this, is hearing the guests go: WOW, look at this… , amazing… best wedding ever!!!
Lizelle & Byron ( and Lizelle’s mommy) made the planning process so easy, they are so such nice, sweet and good hearted people, you just want to go the extra mile….
There was a few unique things happening at this wedding & difficult to talk about all of them( hopefully the pictures tell the story)…. but the most special for me was their vow! We came up with this idea while we were doing their mock: They wrote a personal vow to each other, we did a massive vinyl sticker for the quad and that was their seating plan… so your table was a part of the sentence/ word from the vow that they wrote to one another….. talk about apersonal touch!!Love you guys and I wish you a happy + Blessed marriage, may you grow really, really old together

You’re scheduling on the day amazed me and at one point in time during the reception I stood back and “absorbed everything”(just like you said we must) and I stood in awe to observe how all those little details came together like a perfect 1000 piece puzzle.
