If someone told me a year ago I would own my own company and get married… I would have thought NO Way!!! but it happend! All my couples knew as they booked me November is my own wedding, and on 11-11-11 I also got married!! What an exciting time! the week before hand, the planning and the day itself…. For the first time planning was for myself! Also now I see things from a Bride’s side for the first time, so can give advice not only from a wedding planner side but from the view of a Bride!!
I would like to thank all my service providers involved, without them my PERFECT day wouldnt be possible!! Thank you to each one– you are all AMAZING

Lourens and I got engaged in December 2010 and decided to get married close to Stellenbosch, which is where we had met as students a few years prior.
Living in Johannesburg, I was always a little anxious about the challenges of organising our big day from another city and with limited time to meet with service providers. I thought that a bit of help and guidance from someone in the industry would go a long way.
My sister had told me about a wedding co-ordinator she had randomly met a few weeks prior, and by chance after a long day of venue searching, I found myself in “I do” and met Izandi- the wedding co-ordinator my sister had told me about! Small world!I immediately felt at ease with the manner Izandi attentively listened to my ideas and went about assisting me. Her network of service providers in the industry was astonishing, and more specifically, the urgency she displayed in providing me with different options to meet my specific needs, was admirable. Within two days of our first meeting, I had my wedding date and the most beautiful venue booked. A week later the majority of my service providers were locked in- a photographer, decor and flowers, hair and makeup, catering and the church.
I left Cape Town for Johannesburg, knowing that Izandi was only a phone call or email away, and that she would attend to any of my other requests as if it were her own wedding she was planning.
Izandi’s energy, creativity and passion is inspiring. No request on my behalf was ever frowned upon or deemed impossible. She was able to visualize what I had in my mind and provide critical insights and ideas into shaping the perfect end product.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Izandi, and her inputs made the wedding planning experience a far less stressful one, and contributed to making our wedding day the most unforgettable day ever.

I met Anne while doing Lienka & Mike’s wedding at Val de Vie Polo Estate. She normally second shoots for June Joubert she is one talented Photographer!!!! And she is just such an sweet, gentle and friendly person!! She phoned me when they got engaged and we had less than 2 months to plan!! BUT she knew exactly what she wanted for a special day, so that made everything very easy. They got married on their own farm Leeuwenskuil and it was absolutely a breathtaking day!!!!

Just looking at these picture you can tell it was an EXTRAORDINARY wedding!! I met Lucindi’s mom for our first meeting ( as Lucindi is such a busy lady
) and she is the most inspiring person I have EVER met!!!!! I then met Lucindi… and the relations between Mom and Daughter is one that you dont see so often .The warmest people I have met in a long time… I wanted and promised to make her special day SPECTACULAR and it was!!! Every thing worked out perfectly, even the weather played along! What a pleasure to work with such amazing people!
To lucindi & Greg I wish a life of happiness and love!

I heard about Izandi while having a pedicure at a Spa in Mouille Point one night! I was chatting to the therapist about how time consuming wedding planning is and she proceeded to tell me that she knows the best wedding planner based in Stellenbosch. I then had to travel for work, and with time running out, my mom said she would meet with Izandi to discuss how she could assist us.
Needless to say, it wasn’t long and Izandi was planning my wedding!
Izandi’s outgoing personality and reasonable fee were immediately attractive. She was able to offer lists of service providers, ideas, and support. She thought through details and made numerous suggestions. We were in constant contact during the months of planning and she always responded immediately and was attentive and organized. Her manner is efficient, yet unobtrusive which also gave me the space to make the wedding day feel like mine and not something done for me. I came to value the advantage of having her liaise with service providers, and following up on matters that I did not have the time to deal with. Her presence on the actual day meant that I could let go and trust that everything was taken care of. It allowed me to feel relaxed and able to be there with my husband, family and guests.
I am so grateful for having had Izandi there along the way. She shared in an important event in my life and came to feel like a friend.
